Wedding Videography at Farbridge

Farbridge wedding videographer based in Chichester. We've filmed at this stunning South Downs barn venue and know exactly how to capture its magic.

Cinematic Films at One of West Sussex's Most Beautiful Venues

Farbridge is one of those venues that makes a wedding videographer's job genuinely joyful. Tucked into the West Sussex countryside just outside Chichester, this beautiful barn and farmstead sits at the foot of the South Downs with the kind of natural light, open gardens, and warm rustic character that you simply cannot manufacture. If you're getting married at Farbridge, you've made an exceptional choice — and you deserve a wedding film that does it justice.

We've filmed at Farbridge on a number of occasions, and every time we arrive, the same things strike us: the way the afternoon sun falls across the gardens in long golden shafts, the texture of the old barn timbers, the quiet beauty of the surrounding countryside. These aren't things you can replicate at a studio venue. They're the details that make Farbridge weddings feel utterly their own — and they're the details we make it our business to capture.

Why Farbridge Works So Well on Film

Barn venues can be tricky to film in — the contrast between bright outdoor spaces and darker interior rooms demands careful camera work and proper professional equipment. Having filmed at Farbridge before, we know exactly where to position ourselves during the ceremony to make the most of the light from the barn doors. We know how the evening changes the atmosphere as the reception begins. We know which corners of the garden offer the most beautiful backdrop for those quiet moments between the two of you. That familiarity isn't a small thing — it means we arrive prepared, not guessing.

We film with Sony Cinema Line cameras — the same camera family used on Netflix productions — specifically because they handle mixed light environments beautifully. Rich, cinematic images in the barn. Clean, detailed footage in the gardens. No grainy, underexposed ceremony footage. Every moment of your Farbridge day captured the way it actually looked and felt.

What You Can Expect on the Day

Our standard approach at Farbridge is two videographers working throughout the day. While one of us is with the bride or bridal party during preparations, the other is at the venue ensuring we capture the guests arriving, the flowers on the tables, the details you spent months choosing. From that point on, we move quietly through your day — during the ceremony, through the drinks reception in the gardens, into the speeches and first dance — capturing everything as it unfolds without interrupting it.

We don't direct shots or stage moments. Everything in your film will be real — real laughter, real tears, real dancing. That's the only kind of wedding film worth making.

Your finished film will include a 7–9 minute highlights film edited with licensed music that reflects your taste, a full unedited ceremony film, full speeches, and your first dance filmed in full with stabilised camera movement. Drone footage of Farbridge and the surrounding South Downs countryside is included subject to weather and venue permissions — and from the air, Farbridge is genuinely stunning.

Recommended by Couples Who Married at Farbridge

There's no better endorsement than hearing it from couples who've been through the day themselves. Our films have moved Farbridge couples to tears — not because they're overly sentimental productions, but because they capture the day exactly as it felt. The small moments you didn't notice at the time. The look on your partner's face. The spontaneous laughter during the speeches. The last song of the night. Our goal is always to give you something you'll still want to watch in twenty years.

Frequently Asked Questions — Filming at Farbridge

Have you filmed at Farbridge before?

Yes — we've had the pleasure of filming at Farbridge on several occasions and know the venue well. We're familiar with its layout, lighting conditions, and the flow of a wedding day there.

Can you film the drone footage at Farbridge?

Farbridge sits in beautiful open countryside and is well-suited to drone filming. We hold the necessary CAA permissions (STS) and will confirm drone access with the venue in advance. On clear days, the aerial footage of the South Downs setting is exceptional.

What package do you recommend for a Farbridge wedding?

Most Farbridge couples choose our Platinum Package at £1,800, which includes two videographers, full day coverage, the 7–9 minute highlights film, ceremony, speeches, first dance, drone footage, and a 1-minute social reel. If you'd like a more in-depth narrative of your whole day, our Diamond upgrade extends the highlights film to 14–18 minutes.

How far in advance should we book?

Farbridge is a popular venue with a full calendar, so we'd always recommend booking your videography as soon as your venue date is confirmed — ideally 9–12 months in advance. We'd hate for your date to already be taken.
